ABOUT THE QUILT AND PATCHWORK PROJECTS
When will I start to piece the quilt together?
The first issue of sashing, which is the fabric used to join the blocks, will be at issue 11. This issue will come with instructions on how to begin assembling your quilt.
How many blocks will I make?
The quilt is made up of 80 blocks plus sashing.
I've cut my fabric to the wrong size, what can I do?
If you make a mistake with the fabric provided you can contact us and you can purchase a replacement issue. You will need to tell us the issue number for the block you are making.
Should I wash my fabric before making the block?
As it can be difficult to predict how different fabrics will react to washing we suggest that you do not wash the fabrics before sewing your block. The finished quilt should be professionally dry cleaned only to keep it looking its best!
Can I get the quilt wadding and backing fabric without subscribing?
Yes, you will be able to order it separately on the Quilt page of the website from issue 15 of the collection.
Where can I buy fabrics for other projects?
There is a huge selection of beautiful fabrics available to buy in specialist shops and online. We will feature profiles of some of our favourites in the magazine and we will keep our Facebook page updated with new ranges as they come out.
